Emma ran head on into a wave in her first experience with the warm Atlantic. Lets just say she won't do it again. I hope she's not traumatized.We enjoyed showing the girls what those air bubbles are as the waves hit the surf and sand. They were surprised to see little Sand Crabs burrowing quickly to get away.

I look forward to the day when these two little girls feel trusting and confident enough to go out on that "big ocean" with their Grandpa for a sea kayak ride! We can start small - even Elkhorn Slough or Tomales Bay will do!
