It has been a a busy summer with Sam finishing up Kindergarten and a ton of activities for all i.e T-Ball for Emma, dance for Sam and swimming for both. As for activities for Mommy and Daddy? Well...just keeping track of it all! The girls have fun!
Gavin is getting bigger and bigger everyday (I swear that boy cries more than both the girls put together....wheeew). But, when he's not crying he's grinning from ear to ear and really is a joy to be around!
We enjoyed spending time in Napa with Grandma and Grandpa for Grandpa's birthday. Short and sweet! Good company!
Brentwood has a modified "year-round" school system so Sam started First Grade the last week of July. She was excited to be in the "big kid" area of the school and stays a couple hours longer, til 2:05 everyday. She has two teachers Mrs. Lema and Mrs. McNamara (who job share) and it looks like she is really going to enjoy the year with a lot of reading and writing. They have a new Principal at Brentwood Elementary and he seems to be quite proactive and very hands on (Oh! He's also a Giants fan! Thumbs up!). We look forward to a fun year.
Emma started preschool and she is in the Cheetah class. She was a little nervous but was quick to join in the fun and jump, dance and sing with all the others. Didn't take her long. We really enjoyed Celebration Christian Preschool with Sam and we are happy to be back with more enjoyable experiences with Emma.
